On the 24^th April senior leaders and local governing body members across all our schools joined with the Trust board in our annual leadership conference.  This year the event was hosted at St John Fisher Primary School.  Our focus in this jubilee year was ‘Shaping the Future as Pilgrims of Hope’.

After an initial presentation by our CEO, Geraldine Higgins, on the changing educational landscape and the challenges and opportunities this provides. All delegates were able to attend a series of workshops.  These included:

• Catholic Life – led by Jo Browne form the Diocese of Westminster
• Recruitment and retention led by Chris Briggs Headteacher at St Joseph’s Primary school
• HR processes led by educational personnel management
• Finances led by Peter Tomkins, CFO
• Safeguarding led by Geraldine Higgins CEO
• Educational standards led by Jim Coyle, Chair of the trust Board.

Our evening finished with a renewed focus on how we can shape our future, share our mission and truly be pilgrims of hope.
