Pancake Day 2025

As we prepared for the start of Lent – the time of fasting and reflection on the special message of the Easter season, our school communities followed the age-old tradition of Shrove Tuesday.  On that day tradition tells us that the pantry is cleared ready for the Lenten season ahead with the result that everyone has pancakes.  As part of the fun and celebrations, schools across the Trust held a variety of events such as teachers making pancakes for the pupils to raise funds for charity and pancake races.

Our headteachers across the Blessed Holy Family were not to be left out with the competitive spirit seeing who was best at frying and flipping their pancakes.  Surprisingly, everyone was successful without any falling to the floor!
